Setting another new Deadlift record...
West Midlands Championships 2005
Here are a couple of Pictures of Pat with the medal she got for setting a new deadlift record & the cup is for the overall West Midlands Championship Record for all three lifts for BDFPA.
BDFPA British Champion of Champions 8 May
Details:
Federation - BDFPA
Event - British championships
Held in - Brize Norton, Oxfordshire
Lifted - all my lifts were records - in total 195k at 42.8 b/w.
Comments - became Champion of Champions at this event.
This was a particularly tough competition with my health at low ebb.
European event just a few weeks later
Pat won the European unequipped championship!

Event - European Championships
Held in - Scotland
Lifted - all my lifts were new records, totalled 172.5 at 42.4 b/w.
Comments - this time unequipped. This was a very tiring
weekend - You may remember I spoke at Heart of England Vegan fetsival
the day before and had to leave early to meet with deadlines.
BWLA British Unequipped 25 June 05
This event produced records for all the unequipped lifts!!!

Held in - Birmingham
Lifted - 172.5k at 41.6 b/w
Comments - Active tumours really painful during run up
- such close competitions are definitely not advisable! Weight-loss
weakened me - so very pleased with this event.

Held in - Alexander Stadium, Birmingham
Lifted - 100 kilo pull at 41.5k b/w
Comments - still struggling with sickness owing to
cancer treatment. Currently have a scant nine weeks to my first
of two World events - one in October in Witney and one in Turin, Italy
in December.
