EPF Mr Britain 2008

Woke up 6am Friday morning in sooo much pain Arthritis pain attack worst I have ever had, could hardly walk, knee kept giving way and locking.  Looked like I would not be competing... Hang on 16 weeks comp dieting... "No Way!" I will be on that stage even if it kills me! 

Saturday morning still in a lot of pain.  1st coat of tan on & off to the venue, a 3 hour drive.  No, I did not have to drive, no way would of I be able to [God bless Michael and Lee two true brothers in iron].

Back stage 2nd coat, looked great just hoping knee holds out pumped up whacked half a bottle of wine down me with sugar in it 2 Efys ready to do battle and a battle it was, never been on stage that long for compulsories etc. 

When my name was called oh yes 1st place was not bothered about the trophy, the title of EPF Masters Over 50 MR Britain was mine Mr UK next week let's hope I can do the double.
